At a time when all the major companies are trying to position themselves aggressively in the market, job opportunities, hiring and layoffs are going side by side. Leaner company structure is the order of the time but what about skill and expertise. Are we looking at big meltdown in terms of employee layoff or is it just a correction.

If some companies or employer are laying off their staff other competitors are making the most of it. Some companies have done it in the past and that surely paves the way for the others to follow. The stigma associated with the layoff has subsided to a large extent and we are looking at layoff or laid off as a brief lull before the next big leap.
